EP 16: DON’T OVERLOOK YOUR CHAMBER

A CHAMBER AMPLIFIES EVERYTHING.

By this point, it’s clear that this kind of work doesn’t just happen on its own. It takes coordination, consistency, and people working together over time.

Which raises a practical question—where does that actually happen?

Because film production, tourism, local businesses, and community leadership don’t naturally operate in the same space, they don’t automatically share information or move in sync, even when everyone is working toward something similar.

But in many communities, there’s already a place where those connections exist. It's just not always thought of this way.

The Chamber of Commerce.

It’s where businesses are connected. It’s where communication already happens. It’s where local services, resources, and relationships are organized and maintained over time.

Not as a film office, and not as a tourism department—but as something just as valuable.

A network. 🤝

And that network is what this work actually depends on.

Because activating film production and film tourism isn’t just about having a good idea—it’s about having the right people connected and ready to respond when something shows up.

Who can help? Who can support? Who can follow through? That’s what the Chamber already represents.

Not the driver of the work—but a place where the work can connect, move, and continue.

And when it’s part of the process, things don’t have to be built from scratch. They can be connected, built on, and carried forward.

Because the network needed to activate this work often already exists—it’s been living inside the Chamber all along.

🎬 Follow along as we continue building your Film Tourism strategy.
